i shot past a copper the other night at almost 70 in a 30... by the time i noticed him i thought there wasnt no point in trying to slow down... my mate who was behind me anchored on and slowed... the copper just sat and watch me go pass regardless.... even my mate couldnt beleive he didnt give...

i have a cup!! mines for drinking out of though .... :(

at the end of the day me and nick believe ram air works and joe doesnt, so joe will continue to not use it ( not knowing what hes missing http://www.stopstart.fsnet.co.uk/smilie/tung2.gif ) and me and nick and others will continue to use it...... argueing the points just the fun bit...

back to ram air...... think of this ..... blow into a balloon, it goes up ..... pressure!! put a pipe on the balloon .... still inflates the blowing is still causing PRESSURE so to release ( MOVE ) this pressure lets put another pipe through the balloon and to a ..... big pink balloon...

joe, when manufacturers make cars they dont make them to there top spec fastest possible for a reason... reliability!! if the tuned the buggery and slammed everycar to the floor that came out the show room, yes ud have a faster better handling car but not everyone wants that, people want...

if nicks meter is inaccurate... and itinaccuracy changes does that not mean there is some relative accuracy still there to judge any differnces from? otherwise it would have no changed.... same as a rolling road , everyone says there inaccurate but we still use them as a change in figures is...

so if blowing into something doesnt increase pressure.. how do u blow a balloon up? and how does drag work if there is no pressure changes when moving at speeds?

and nick, damn gremlins!! ive had them too!!

please explain.. "doing work on the air" if its moving at the same speeds although the pump will increase the pressure because it wont let air flow back the other way, the pressure will still increase without the pump cause the pressure is still there from the speed your doing... obviously no...

so if air being forced down a pipe at 70mph into the only place its has to be able to go (engine) has no pressure change at all.. then a turbo would also have no affect cause thats also forcing air down a pipe and into the only place it has to go (engine)... hows that work then?

should i dare ask what this new idea is!!!????

so two cars both with "nicks ram scoop" ....... one is sitting still.... one is moving at 70 mph (dont break the law now) the air going into the engine is in no way changed in pressure between the two?? cant see that as one as 70mph winds blowing up its ass....
