Right, need new sills on the valver as they're damaged and rusty. I can get the sills, but I was wondering if anyone knows roughly how much it will cost for someone to cut out the current sills and weld on the new ones? Also if anyone reccomends any garages in Leicester where I could get this...

To be honest mate I'd just lower it and put some new alloys on if you fancy it. UPgrade to clio 16v brakes and that'd do. If tyou want more performance look out for a valver engine, they go qutie cheap these days!

Yeah I know what you mean mate. A couple of people have said tog et it MOT'd, but if I take it for an MOT there going to wonder why I'm taking it in 5 months early, and then they're going to be 'extra' picky so it's a bit scary :S

pinking = pre-ignition. Word says it all. Fuel is being ignited before the spark.

Not sure mate. I'd guess about £350 - £400 so far. Just need bits and bobs now for cosmetics. If it drives fine though and no problems in the next few weeks I'm going to get my sills redone (price guideline anyone?) and then going for a full respray I think (mate's dad will do me a deal ;)) Oh...

Agree! Look much nicer than the Rsi's I think and only an insurance group higher. Try Elephant for quotes, they did me good :)

Right, as some of you may remember. I smashed my poor tungsten valver up about 5 months ago now. Only now is it getting somewhere near to getting back on the road. Had a lot of work to do (Engine out strip and change lots of bits on it, pulling out front of chassis, replacement subframe and...
