If it's got a mis fire, I'd be heading straight to the coilpack, HTs and plugs.
Check for damp around the plugs / rust in the plug holes.
Have you still got the engine cover on ? Has the car been serviced recently ?!
Silly drunkard.
Yeah, not good. Get involved anyway. You might be surprised.
Friend is a qualified drink driver, and his insurance wasn't affected much, if at all after getting his qualification and 12 months out of the drivers seat.
... wuuuunnn bruvvaaaaa ?
The best ? For what...? Power / economy / finance reasons / straight swap as yours is duff...?
I'm assuming you mean more power .. so, buy another car. The insurance increase alone negates the idea TBH.

1999 car .. Standard engine .. UK Turbo 2000 Wagon .. Ninja sports cat with 3" all the way through to the H&S 4" backbox (like a Cossie according to Ant!!) .. Spax RSX coilies .. 17" Rota Torques (with summer rubber).
That's about it!
:approve:
Will a 10 cm speaker fit in a 13cm hole?
What do you think.....?
Even if you got some adaptors, why would you want to go smaller?! 13s are hardly expensive.
Wrong spark plugs ?
HTs in the wrong order ?
Take the inlet off, check the order is correct on the leads (no.1 cyl is driver side, no.4 is by the box IIRC) and make sure they used the right sparks. There is only one brand/type to use...
