Well this is thursdays task.
Just wondered if spraying them will be better or will painting them with a brush be fine?
Are the calipers a pain to remove so that i can give them a proper paint or do most people just cover up the disc etc and take care with it?
Thanks
Well i only changed my cambelt like 2weeks ago!
Is there much difference between 421 and 428 cams?
So realistically i could buy cams for say £400ish second hand, and get them fitted by a mate for cheapish and im good to go...but a proper remap would be better!
Thanks DA.
I was reading about some that will be ok on the normal ecu, and with the rs tuner remap i thought i may be ok till i can afford a live map.
Whats the fitting time rougly on fitting cams?
Right,
Well i was interested in the JMS manifold which looks a lovely bit of kit, its just out of my price range.
Now im interested in buying some cams(second hand) but have no intention of putting TB's on, i have the 98 ron performance remap by henk but wondered what cams will be fine so run...
It deffo sounds like my exhaust is blowing a bit...you put your foot down and kind of hear air/ a hissy deep noise.
To check do i literally need to jack my car up, get someone to rev it while im underneath and see if any air is escaping?
Thanks
I have Xenons on my 182,

Taking it to the garage opposite me as i know the guy on sat to buzz gun them off for free, then im gonna fit them with a friend.
Backs were so easy though! 20mins tops for the backs.
Changed the back springs in about 25minutes.
Tried a deep 21mm for fronts, nothing.
Now have an allen key, and a swan necked 21mm spanner and it wont move atall!
Any tips?
Good good, ill try it.
Ill go and wd 40 the front up now.
So rears just literally remove the bolts on the bottom and the springs come out, fit the others and slowly tighten into place.
fronts, under the bolts, jack up, take off spring by pulling it backwards, then put on new spring, tighten
