ive just got a set of h&r springs for my 99 1.4 and on the box it states they would fit 2.0 16v aswell not sure if that helps you try phoning around a few places that might help

get two bumpers place one on top of the other both should be roughly same size cut and then use plenty of fibreglass lots of hassle and the first one may not turn out (ive tried it with my m8) much easier to buy them i know thats not what you want to hear but sometimes it makes sense
