I didn't get a note or anything to say it had been dispatched but i received it a few days after ordering it. Reason i didn't buy it from a dealership is the nearest one is 20 miles away so for the sake of £6 it saved me the time / hassle by just ordering it online.
Pretty sure a tunepoint will work with a Cabasse but it wont work with a CD changer as it uses the CD changer socket to plug into.
If you don't want to fork out £180 for a tunepoint the connect 2 is a good option. As above you can connect an ipod / iphone and use the controls on the...
I love it.....but I've got to say I'm not a fan of the red alacantra - looks a bit tacky IMO. I prefer the standard trims and wheel.
Love the turini's and seats though.
Re: Droning noise coming from wheel when moving
I've had the same thing and it turned out to be the tyres too. Is the noise still there if you put the clutch in?
Excessive short journeys with a cold engine will make your oil become more diluted with petrol which will degrade it faster so just change the oil more frequently.
I really think you have missed my point completely. Either that or i'm not getting my point across very clearly. Read my last post.
I'm not saying a Trophy isn't worth more than a 182 I'm saying its not an Investment and will go down in value in the next 3 years.
That would be an investment 16 year old Renault williams / 20 year old 205 1.9 GTI Mk1 Golf.
Not on the same level as a 5 year old trophy because the Trophy's havent hit the low point yet.
A trophy will be an investment when you start being able to pick up a tidy one for under £3k, but not yet.
Think you've missed my point.
FF 182 - £3-£3.5K
Trophy - £4.5- K
3 years time i reckon they will be the same price difference if not less.
If you want recaros / turinis / sach's racing dampers and will pay an extra £1500 then a trophy is a better option.
If you don't a 182 is.
All I said was...
Say in three years its done 60K. Not a chance will anyone fork out anywhere near 5K for it when its 11 years old (look the price of 306 rallye's now)
It hasn't head it's value it cost over £12,000 5 years ago. IMO the owner hasn't really had his money's worth out of it.
So you'd pay £4500 - £5000 now for a trophy with 65K miles and a FSH.
3 Years time do you really think people will fork out £5k for a 10 year old 182 with circa 100K miles on it?
Unless you plan on buying a stupidly low mileage one and never use it but still have it serviced annually at...
Depends what you want out of a car and your own preferences.
I considered a trophy but went for a cup packed RB 182 as I prefer the colour, its got all the toys in it and it was a fair bit cheaper. A bonus is i dont have to worry about damper refurb's and fading paint. Personally I hate the...
