    But fully synthetic oil is designed to last those kind of miles driven hard or not. There is absolutely nothing wrong with letting it last 12k or 1 year.

    But if Renault recommend 12k then I'm sure they're saying that on the side of caution and could probably do another good few 1000 without damaging it. Waste of time doing it every 6k or 6 months imo.

    At the same time your a bit of a muppet to think a MK5 GTI will leave a 1*2. I pulled along side a 08 Leon FR which is the same car. GTI's aint all that....

    Yeah right, what ever:rolleyes:. Set it to auto and it kicks in regularly this time of year and it's a joy to have. Lol at the people that think there more of a man or something by not turning there's on imo.

    Why didn't they make the 1*2 look like the v6....

    the simple fact the the V6 is rear wheel drive/engined is the reason a 1*2 could never look the same. How daft would huge back wheels look on a fwd car:S.

    I've yet to find a standard cup or 182 that my mine wont pull on yet. All depends on the engine imo.
