^^lol the only isue you may have is watching american dvd's as they use a different frame rate to us but tbh your average joe wouldnt notice so to me it sounds like lip sync issues and its making you think its going faster than it is sound is slightly delayed compared to the picture caused...

no you use the supplied optical cable for that tv optical out stand optical tv in page 13 of the manual

you need one for evry hdmi device so one for dvd and one for tv thats it here is the manual http://pdf.crse.com/manuals/3093227213.pdf its very expensive for some speakers and a stand though

it uses the hmi cable from the stand to the tv the hdmi ports in the stand are like a hub it has 2 down stream ports and one upstream
