just installing ubuntu server do i want to use lvm or encrypted lvm or just use entire disk ? its going on a virgin sc1435 with 1 disk no raid to be used as an apache server for our intranet

the backups are to large to go via adsl service 10MB sync would do i think its only about 60GB of data we already have a vpn connection but thats going from their 512k adsl connection to our 2 mb leased line that just about copes with one person using it !
