yeah i think i meant 58mm hubs tbh lol but is everything swapable from my 54mm hubs then?
(edde the hubs im getting are from hodg eventually lol assuming there 58mm?)
yeah like he said stiffen up the area you put them on making the car handle better, by putting it there it makes sure there is no flex in the chassis or other areas,,, or so i was told :P
Hello guys,
as youu can see << i have a mk2 ph1 and im looking at putting 52mm spaced hubs on my car as they are currently 54mm,
do any of you guys know if the brake discs will be interchangable? and will i need anything extra apart from the hubs themselves?
Cheers Guys
Matt
not got a very good reputation on here matey, i think they look ok if fitted by a pro, but dont last very long and are very loud and boomy, but ive not had first hand exp.
you have to take off the old bumper, bumper reinforcing plastic, arch liners.
then once you have the new 172 ph2 bumper you need to drill three new pilot holes through the plastic at the top in the middle, you also ideally need some arch liners that fit that bumper.
but make sure you realise...
yeh i thought that! ^^ lol looks really greased up! check you havent got some on your discs, that might be the cause as everything else seems to have a nice covering :P lol
