    Rota Wheels...

I have a set on my Scoob. I had no idea they are apparently copies of some set of wheels I've never heard of until I've come on here... they were and still are to me, a set of wheels which are smaller and lighter than the god-awful piece of crap wrecked 18s I sold on. After selling/buying, I...

    A CURE FOR UNDERSTEER?

Welcome to the Internet dude. Does your car actually understeer ? Tragic hedge-magnet style the whole time or just when 'pushing on' ?

    A CURE FOR UNDERSTEER?

If the first thing is perfect / as good as can be, move on: Checklist: 1. Moderate > good tyres (no ditch finders, bald or 10 yr old premium rubber). 2. Correct tyre pressures. 3. Geometry. 4. Driving lessons.

    Lamin X my headlights..

Jude, if your hazing comes back after a week after polishing, you're not doing that right. :S Not at £46 a pop ! Looks OK in the pics though.

    Should I De-Wiper ?

Looks daft IMO. It's meant to be there... leave it be. I barely used the rear one on my Clio but the screen ends up HANGING in winter or generally when there's a week in the month in the UK thanks to the weather. Inherrent aero fail thanks to the hatchback design. What's broken ...

Penetrating fluid the night before (and maybe the night before that too;) ). Apply liberally, and if you can, find the bolts on the underside and apply liberally there too !

182 failed MOT on exhaust and load sensing valve linkage

Nail / head / etc. Further unnecessary proof that Renault dealers appear to be utterly useless. *Yes yes, there's a few out there... few and far between though.

    sub on standard HU

Get a decent HU - standard ones are pony. A decent Alpine HU with decent HPF/LPF and you're sorted on the bass front with a sub in the boot. Mp3 CD = 10+ CDs in one. Get a lead from MT AUDIO, stalk controls sorted. No point amping the standard speakers. Major effort wiring new ones up...

The "Ive taken a pic and I kinda like it" thread

If you can't work out how straight that photo is, 1 - get your eyes tested lol and 2 - scroll your browser til the horizon is at the top so you've got a straight line to reference... :S

16 inch oz f1s in here

Ph1 + 15's FTW. Looks better, tyres are cheaper, less rotating weight... OEM. Done :approve: (Renault ones are softer than a Dairylea triangle though!)

    Water in passenger footwell

Once you've sorted it .. wet'n'dry vac, followed by heat (electric fan heater), followed by a bowl of rice in the car. When driving, a/c on warm and feet. De-humidifies the air, see. But you already knew that.

    Best road tyre pressures

RTFM. :rasp: Why would you use anything other than that for regular road tyres, on road !?
