    Any tips for clio 1.2?

Didn't realise they were rotary engined. Try the wanted section.

Buying 182 ADVICE NEEDED PLEASE :) TOTAL CLIO NEWBIE!

This helpful person suggested where to look: As mentioned, try the 'cars for sale' section ! 2-3k for a 182, you're looking at the bottom end of the market. Does that include insurance ? 172 cup has cheaper insurance ?! Says who... no ABS, a few insurers won't touch them. Don't know why...

Gave the BG182 a clean today

Turtlespunk... LOL ! Shame on you. Black hole isn't a polish ;) Nutty ? Is that a new flavour ?! :rasp: Has it recently had / does it need a machine polish ? If so, get involved in gteqniq. Mega impressive stuff.

    Bear with me on this...

Is that what I said ? No. It's being shown off, it's in the sunshine, it looks ok. Full of Burberry capped yoofs brappin' it up in a carpark on a Friday night, it would look dull and ridiculous.

Excessive fuel consumption - Renault Clio RT 1400 (Model 1995)

Do you have an AFR gauge in your car !? (if so why !?) 1:11 (fuel to air) is still rather rich IIRC (Mick?!) ? It is winter now (assuming you live in the northern hemisphere) so with it being much colder, that will affect fuel consumption.

    Back again with another 182...

I'd get that plate mentioned to the Police, incase you end up with a bill from BP or get questioned for something much worse. Doesn't matter if it was maliciously stolen, or fell off. Someone might find it or use it for anything. Regarding the brakes, give it a week to get used to them...

    Bear with me on this...

The exterior looks quite smart IMO. Maybe it looks a bit more grown up being a 5 door ? I even quite like the wheels, I think it carries them off well. However, I think if I saw it in a MuckyD's carpark on a Friday night (on my way to Tesco to grab a bottle, obviously) I'd probably point and...

AWWW, My car is one year old today!

Ha. Did you buy it a cake and make it blow the candle out !? If not, I expect to see a video on here by the end of the day... :coffee: Because, deep down (some closer to the surface than others), they're all mental ;)

Gave the BG182 a clean today

Looks photoshopped ! Every one is from the same angle with a different but similar background... use your imagination man, move about haha ! 3/4 plate is a silly idea IMO. They are illegal, and they look daft. OK, you're unlikely to kill anyone because of it, but it's still not worth...

    Bad news

So, in summary, buy it back ? LMAO !

    Bad news

Bad news indeed... Total loss for a bit of a scratch !? WTF... Buy it back, replace the wing and the bumper ?! What else is fugger'd ?

Ph1 sport bumper looks great IMO. Maybe because mine was on it's arse... IMG_1369 by evil_giraffes_rule, on Flickr Ph2 lights make it look 10 years younger at the back...! You'll come around eventually, Mr Harpham. They all do in the end. You'll see... :coffee:

This: ...is an otter. Ph2 rear ends belong on Ph2's. Cup spoiler and lights, but it must have the Ph1 bumper. Trophy spoiler looks daft on the Trophy, let alone a Ph1. PH1FTW etc.

Also, same day service ? If the buyer needs it that urgently, they can come and collect it !!

    Posting bucket seat help???

£549 ??? You've tried one ? Try more companies for goodness sake. Not really helping yourself here are you ;) Only other option I can think of is suggest where it's going from and to, and strike lucky with someone going in that direction.

    Alloy re-furb

LOL @ £80 a set. £40-50 for a 15/16" wheel is about right, for powdercoating anyway. No point getting them painted IMO.

Plenty for sale on here. Sign up ! Best £12 you'll ever spend. Brian even sends you Haribo. What's your budget ? What colour do you want ? Anything you want (cruise/climate for instance) ? Expect to travel for a good one. Don't just look within 100metres of your doorstep and wonder why...

Welcome to Huddersfield (Break in content)

Unlucky. Was anything on show, like your HU fascia or was it just a lucky hit for them ? Looks like a lot of crap on your seats/floor.. too much to just be the contents of the glovebox ! Don't tell insurance. Assuming you have windscreen cover, just get AutoGlass to come out, pay the excess...

    Winter Tyres

Not sure if trolling ? BBC = report from 2010 The Sun = report from 2011 I'm sure this was on another link somewhere back in the ~450 previous posts. Just looks like media scaremongering to me. "if your wheel is not fitted correctly" then you are a muppet.

    Just A Random Thought

IIRC, US 'gas' has a RON value of about 4, not the 97 Renault recommends... Sounds like a good idea to me, but not the best. I want to 'do' America, but I'd hire something LHD, with a V8, Yank style

    Winter Tyres

Mine were £66 a corner delivered in September. Didn't pay to fit them. I've just had a look .. I can't buy the same ones again from BlackCircles, the cheapest on offer there are £100 a corner. Same make/model as mine on MyTyres are £80 now !

It's not poor. It's just about 10% softer... just not quite as sharp. However, compared to understeer/hedge, I prefer this !

No temp gauge (or annoying beeping!) in my car... but it was chuffing chilly. I'm half tempted to increase my ARBs to the hardest settings, but might just leave that for spring :o

    Winter Tyres

I noticed mine's a little softer generally but it's nice to chill (see what I did there) out for a while. Will make it feel more like a go-kart after the cold stuff does one ! Last night coming home late, cold and wet around midnight, I tried to get mine to step out around roundabouts. It...
