peter moore didnt deny that therw will be a 65nm core at some point but he did say there are 1500 components in the xbox and an infinate number of combinations so saying any are cooler quieter and trying to narrow it down will be quite hard they just stick in what ever they have to hand
its only at idle when sat at the os interface really usually they just take free cycles of the cpu
the ps3 has problems regarding its cpu's and its operating system as in its a beast to run and keeps stealing cpu time from the cores that run the games one of the reasons for frame rate issues
the bproblem is as you pointed out no games are native 1080p and there is only 1 or 2 that i knowe of that are out any time soon that support it at the moment everything is just upscaled so quality isnt that noticeable
it is notice able to some people im talking more about the fact that the quality of teh component signal is s**t from teh 360 colours are very over blown imho
well its now official ms have announced it
ah the jag was almost as powerfull as the ps1 but the ps1 wasnt as powerfull as the saturn

well its a ms employee so it will get someone into trouble and you wouldnt have to get one if no changes need to be made tho
but anyway this makes no odds to me i dont have a hd tv anymore anyway lol
