Cup Clash - EVO Magazine Article

182 depends on budget etc....also depends if you get a so called "good one" as to which is quicker in a straight line (I have kept up with a cup easy in mine:rasp: ) and just over 2 sec diff on a track isn't much in the real world.

    Clio 172 Question

mine is a 53 plate and dosnt have CC. You still get the esp/traction control though and they are more important imo.

    v6 and 182 /172 turning circle

tbh I would rather be parking my 172 than my old mans pug 406 estate (or alot of bigger cars). At least its short and the wheels are close to the corners.

Standard air box with an ITG filtre and just pull the cold air feed out sounds good imo

    Clio williams

I got a good £100 off my insurance for been a member of CS so worth doing still. As for this Williams thing, agree to disagree (but remember your on a Clio forum;) ). It wasn't the best car ever and it certainly wasn't the worst car ever. Some people prefer FWD others RWD and some both. You...

The 205 won many a rally, how come you aint mentioned those? there closer to the williams than the M3. Also the Corrado VR6 is another fine example of a car that is regarded as a "truly great drivers car" (and was FWD!). I dont remember those winning anything speacial appart from peoples hearts;)

I'm sorry but I still fail to see why a road car can only be classed as average unless it had a counterpart that won races??

    Clio williams

And the Clio V6 is a cheap and cheerful rwd car compared to a Ferrari;)
  22. realnumber 1

    Clio williams

Its a modern classic because it was one of the best in class at the time and set new standards in that class. It takes more than just winning races to make a great ROAD car.

    Clio williams

The problem is a car does not have to have great racing pedigree to be a truly good car as it were. Most racing equivalents are substantially different to there road going counter parts anyhow.

To say all FWD cars are average is a very BOLD statement to make and just so untrue LOL:D

    Decat yes or No?

As in your running it on LPG with a 2nd tank?

    Decat yes or No?

How would it stand insurance wise? Would it not void it because you can't really declare it? Think its about the only thing stopping me getting one.
