A Ph1 172 can be had for £1000-£1500 .. last time I checked K-TEC for instance, I think the conversion was about £6-7,000.
R.e.: The log book - If you're considering doing this to commit insurance fraud, it will take you years to make it worthwhile.
If it's not there, you can't fail on it. Simplez. Also some cars these days (infact a lot!!) don't have a spare fitted as standard. It's not a legal requirement to carry a spare wheel. That's probably the 'logic' behind it.
Lost my virginity at last :D
Well my machine polishing one anyway..
Did Sash's bonnet today .. seemed easy enough really. Without much effort, it's come up fine and dandy. Not near 100% correction but for a first attempt on the worst scratched and stone chipped bonnet in the world, it's not...
T-Cut in the bin.
It will need polishing properly.
Wash, de-tar, clay, polish (even a psuedo-polish like AG's SRP will help), machine polish by a pro will be even better.., then wash, seal and wax.
I'd recommend taking it to Dawn (MagvieV6) as she's the worlds biggest detailing geek...
Ideas ? Put fuel in tank .. drive it. Stay on the tarmac. Avoid hedges/ditches.
Lower it if you need to... Lose the wind deflectors. They look ridiculous on every single car in the world. FK lights look daft on 100% standard pov-spec Clio TBH.
Sorry....
If you've not got the manual to hand, most cars have a sticker on the B-pillar with details too.
I can't tell you for sure (and I can't be arsed to search) as I don't own a Clio, but it is something like 2.3bar F : 2.1bar R.
FLOL !
If you've got no imagination then don't bother.
What has CUP got to do with anything anyway ? Is that your initials or is the car a povertyspec 182 ?
