its the same thing resolution wise and everything is progressive on an lcd or plasma

yeah it will be the old 506 or possibly 505 series regards what to get it all depends on budget and how far away you will be sitting from it

the pioneer 506 tv only has 1280 x 768 pixels so a 1920x1080 input source gets downscaled to fit 1280 x 768
