This thread stinks of jealousy !!
V6's are a superb car, It's in a different league to all other Clio RS models imo
It might not be the fastest thing on four wheels but the noise and pose is emmense, It's a collectors car that will depreciate then over time climb up in price, Sure Trophys...
Yep really enjoyed it !!
Cant wait to see the pics as they are gonna be wicked...
Shame Craig missed the food but we know Saw 6 was way more important lol ;)
We got some mad looks by people on the street, I suppose its not every day you see 10+ RS's storm by
My dad always told me this especially when i passed at 17
"A car is a coffin on wheels"
Its so true.. Sorry to hear of your accident mate, Feels wierd reading that knowing i was at work and this happened if that makes sense
Roffle
I wouldn't mind but its my car !!
TBH though if the video was the other way round this would be 10 pages long.. Been at work all day and was expecting this to be full with comments but nope nothing.. Proves again that 197's are not slow ;)
Re: South East Dent/scratch repair day
Ok well when we get enough interest i'll arrange a day or spread of days, I dont want to give Scott a day yet as if we dont get enough cars or people blow out it'll pi$$ him off and he wont do it again
Seems fair IMO
Like i say Scott is well up for...
As requested by a few members (Hi Craig) i have been talking to a chap called "Scott"
He is a professional body scratch/dent man and does it for a living, I have spoken to him this afternoon and he is very happy to do work on our cars on a day that is organised, I dont need any work well bar a...
Anything will fit with enough time and money but to your question yes i believe the wings will fit if you get the right phase wings, The wings on a sport are wider but at the bottom along the bottom of the door the wing will have an attachment for the skirts, I think without the skirts the wing...
Steering wheel issues :-
1. The thumb grips wear and eventually cave in unless you drive like a rude boy
2. The leather around the wheel falls to pieces and looks utter crap
I'd say a good 80% of 1*2's have a battered steering wheel, I mean K-Tec sell replacements ffs..
On my way to K-Tec today and you was behind me on the M25 around the A3 junction i think
Did you like the CS flyer i lobbed through your passenger window at 60mph !!
Promoting CS on the move FTW ! ;)
Only thing i hated about mine was the rattles it made, It made a nursery full of noisy kids seems quiter tbh
Oh and the steering wheel melting done my head in too
Hey Elliot
Had a look but cant find the number as recently moved, I've PM'd craig and tomorrow i'll go to the place and speak with the guy and get his number, Sorry i didnt get back to you sooner mate
You cutting the bonnet yourself ?
I may depending on how it turns out lol venture this way too, Im getting a carbon bonnet next month so this could be an idea !
Fog lights and people that park up with headlights blazing really irratate me, If its not foggy dont have fogs on its not cool and its not clever and the same goes for people parked up.. Why have your lights blazing if your not moving ??
Yeah true
Just thinking outside the box a little, If your parked up and dead leaves are falling especially at this time of year leaves may block it and causes issues.. Sorry mate i think my brain is getting carried away like its my mod pmsl !
Kev to stop leaves and dirt running into the filter why dont you get some thin wire mesh and cut it to fit to the carbon vent from the underside ? You wont see it plus it saves anything coming off of the road entering the vent and wont block or cause damage
Yes but if w17gle had no passengers in and went against the 197 again he would handed the 197 drivers ass to him on a big golden plated plate!
Standard diesel = not much hope
mapped diesel = very different outcome
