Also from this photo below it looks like it was between J5 & 6 going towards Telford Centre???
To turn off the black fading when you want to do anything remotely advanced go to: Control Panel >> User accounts >> Select your account >> at the bottom of the list of things on that page should be " Turn User Account Control on or off", Click that >> Untick the box on next page >> Restart PC...
Their having trouble getting hold of the Recaros at the moment. Initially put them on my order then found out I would have to wait along time so took them off and had the £850 worth of other options instead.
Notice on the picture below the front spiltter and the way its distorted, seen this...
I have had a Ph2 (51 plate) and currently have a Ph3 (05 plate) Dynamique. Only my current phase 3 has the auto lights and wipers, was standard when I ordered the car. The phase 2 I had did not have them.
Bit annoying having them only as an option on the 197 but I have ordered climate...
I see you have put your own head unit in there, I am going to do the same when my 197 arrives. Any chance of a pic of the interior, especially so that I can see how well the after market radio fits, trim wise, fitting etc.

Following me overtaking a nova down the slip road getting on at J5 and then over took me when we got to the motorway, I then followed until I passed you getting off at J6, put my thumb up as I went past, proably couldnt see or even know it was me anyway.
Pretty sure it was you anyway, doubt...
Should be fine, for file and print serving at home you wont need a mass of processor power, ram is handy and storage is easy as you can add the disks you want.
Just so you have some sort of idea, I am doing the same as you want to do at the moment. I have an old 5 -6 year old Compaq desktop...
Anybody who is thinking of placing an order for a 197 with Recaro's will be out of luck.
I placed my order last week for a 197 with Recaro seats, the dealer phones today and tells me they are having supply issues and that I can either wait for them to become available again or change the...
Sounds fine buddy.
The continuous sounds is the fan in the unit, the clicking type of noise is the DVD loading information for your surrounding area into a buffer memory so that it access it quicker during the journey. I found that this noise happens for the first 2-3 minutes max, must admit...
I'm doing this at the moment.
One hard disk split into 2 partitions, one with the XP install and the other with Vista.
Had a bit of bother when I did mine as I installed Vista first, then XP. When you install XP the XP bootloader takes over and as they have changed the way Vista loads...
Running Vista Business, been on it for about 6-7 weeks and has been great. We've found that the driver support in Vista has been excellent, picks up majority of hardware and if it doesnt have it already its got it off windows update.
No faster than XP however but has been reliable seeing as...
is it using the vista or xp bootloader?
the vista loader looks like this: http://cache.lifehacker.com/assets/2006/06/dualbootchoice.jpg
the xp loader looks like this: http://www.grosse.is-a-geek.com/pcplus/hd206sd/images/hd206-f.gif
if its the xp loader just need to delete the...
Running Vista Business ( Full Release ) here with Messenger 8.1 Beta with no problems.
Windows Firewall is turned off too.
Does it say anything in the event viewer?
Have to agree, we have a 37" Panny Plasma and it is a superb picture. We also have a couple of smaller LCD's aswell but I dont think I'd go over 32" max, for an LCD.
The disk I'm still using is the one that came with it:
The processing box is positioned under the drivers seat, the GPS receiver is under the black scuttle between the windscreen and bonnet.

The latest AVIC has Bluetooth hands free for your phone built in, which could be handy. Saves having a seperate hands free kit installed.
Would also recommend getting the iPod adapter for about £35.
I've used Ubuntu too, probably my favourite of the flavours of linux I've tried so far, in terms of a beginner anyway.
Like above it picks up hardware well but what most impressed me was the way it could see and use my windows workgroup network without me having to configure anything, brilliant.
Some great things to come soon in the Plasma and LCD technology markets.
Here are a few shots of what can be done, featuring the worlds largest plasma by Panasonic at 103" (Samsung do one at 102"), plus some really cool new screens by LG that some how make things look 3D, so much so that if...
I'M GOING TO THIS EXHIBITION !!!! :)

Taken with a Nikon 70 - 300 f4-5.6 G Lens. Nothing really special about the lens but seems to get good enough results for me until I can get round to making a proper investment.
These pics are crops but have not lost any quality / data from the original image, just simply cropped to show the...
I was invited by Technogym to whom we are a client. I work for Thomas Telford School which is the top performing comprehensive in the country, but we also have a business arm to the school, of which with the profits we build city academies. We have recently opened the Sandwell academy, which is...
I have put a link to Technology centre site where you can see little bits of the building. Unfortunately we were not allowed to take photos inside the building, which is why they got us pose for the one picture that they took and printed for us before we left.
TBH I thought it was called the...
