This happened to my mums clio...f**k me I nearly died laughing. She pulled the switch to put it up and it kept going...and going untill it fell out...this was while doing 70 on the motorway.
60mm is correct for a suspension cup packed 182 54mm is non cup suspension packed, but IIRC there was 2 packs for the 182, one was wheels & suspension and other was spoilers?
Could explain why you dont have the cup spoiler?
I had a 172 cup on my drive on bricks for about 2 weeks. Was on bricks when the engine was removed and the rest of the stuff and it never budged once. Just make sure the back wheels are wedged with bricks too! I only stuck it on stands the day we put it on a trailer to scrap it ;).
Hmm it's quite confusing, the ones for my 200 had decent instructions with what bits to change. :(
Not sure if this could solve your problem, but on the 200 you need to drill the bushes out to 10mm so they fit on the KW damper shaft.....
Have you read the fitting instructions?
They are inside the envalope that came in the box. It explains what you need to keep off your existing kit and what you dont need.
A 2year old one was working out roughly the same on finance/bank loan as a brand new one! + nearing the end of warranty and having 20-30k on it!
For me its a no brainer as I need a reliable car (lol @ buying french) to get me to work. No car = no work = no money.
Small price to pay tbh.
