Didnt do a before and after, but Id say 15 - 20mm is about right. Youll notice it cos its your car, but it wont have the slammed look that you see a lot these days. It would have to be a hell of an accident for an assessor to notice aftermarket springs I would have thought - theyre black just...
Really cant understand the logic behing charging extra for a mod that changes the look of the car hardly at all and improves the handling making it safer. Ah well...
I must admit I didnt tell them about the Eibachs. I dont think anyone would guess that youve fitted them unless they were really going over the car. The drop is so subtle even the people who service my car (Renault delership) didnt notice.
Tesco seem pretty reasonable about mods though - no...
Parallel topic here that might be worth watching. Hard luck BTW!

Not sure whether anyones actually tried this, but there was a thread a while ago where someone said they wouldnt fit. Probably better to get some aftermarket ones that are for your model - springs arent expensive after all.
lol @ dogmaul, welcome Jon!
Mk1 vs Mk2 is just a choice issue - both cars are great. Depends on your personal taste and budget really. Most of the problems are well understood now and dealers know how to respond.
Doddle to fit if its a panel filter, as long as you have a torx screwdriver set anyway. Just undo the 6 torx screws, loosen the jubilee clip that holds the pipe, take the lid off the airbox and youre in. No need for any additional pipes etc.
Looks great Hannah!

According to the Magnex site a cat-back system with both tailpipe options is now available for the Clio 1.2 16v.
No you want the airbox to be sealed to stop all that nasty hot air from getting inside. Both holes should have a pipe. The only reason for removing it would be to make the induction note a bit meatier.
Yeah thats about it - deep & rumbly (sp?). Quite loud around 80mph, quieter either side of that. Felt loads faster after Id had it fitted but Im sure that was just the noise. Car makes good numbers on the rolling-road though so the zorst must be ok.
