my mate works in arnold clark so he got them made up for nothing, but then decided to tell me theres a problem with the machine that they use that every plate they make goes squint lol il get them changed over at the weekend.

mine?? i do agree need to get them off

if you think that corsas bad here you go stays just up the road from me...

standard plate, no borders, or illegal spacing etc, though thanks to arnold clark the plate is illegal due to them not being able to print the letters straight so the gap between a few of the letters and the top of the plate is too small :( gonna get some new ones made up.

a went from a 1.3cdti corsa £35 a year road tax and cheap motoring to the 172 which the now is 210 a year going to the 260 and expensive motoring, happy days a guess :(

ahhh, it happens hot or cold but can usually hear it when idiling, il see if i can get a wee video up to show it. just want to make sure its not missfiring but youve cheered me up a bit lol

seems just to be when idiling can hear it pop at the exhaust every now and again oh and its a ph2 172 other than that the car seems to run fine

just seen your reply there mate, is that a common problem with them? or could it be something as simple as a spark plug etc im not mechanically minded but a few friends will be able to help me on it, is it best to get it on a diagnostics?

theres a guy up here trying to put a 172 engine in his 1.2 - hes spent thousands so far been in 3 different garages and its still not in, as far as im aware hes sending it to a renault specialist down south to try get it in, so doesnt sound like its an easy job tbh

i know theres a few threads on here about the service intervals on the 172 but i thought id see if i can get a more direct answer. my 172 has only done 34k so i know its coming up for the aux belt being changed wheres the best place to buy the kit? i want to do the cam belt at the same time even...
