Welcome to the site. I would delete parts of your post if I were you so the insurance company doesn't find out you are commiting fraud. If you put mods on it, then its even more likely that the insurance company will be knocking on your door. If you have an accident, forget about them...

I'd test drove 3 before buying mine. I had an extended test drive, then a year later i booked another couple, only went around the block! was a piss take. Bought the actual car without driving it, but seeing as it was brand new i didn't have a problem. ;)

LOL no it won't, the reason you get swirl marks from it was probably from grit in the sponge. I've been using a sponge for as long as I can remember and have never gotten swirl marks from it. The mit is just a different form of washing your car, no better, no worse. Prove me wrong.

I really don't think using a mit makes any difference over a sponge, its purely personal preference.

It not going to do any damage running the engine on 95, 98 is only reccomended, otherwise it would say 98 only. Still can't be a bad thing.

12k a year isn't really enough to benefit from a diesel. You need to be doing over 20k to see savings in fuel over a petrol car.

Unless your doing serious miles, you won't see the benefit of a diesel in the short term.
