Re: iPhone 4/iOS4 Info (Read this before starting more threads)
I took my 3G/18month out nearly 2years ago and never dropped to the simplicity tarif after the 18month as I knew the 4 wouldn't be far away.
So hopefully it'll be a straight forward upgrade for me!
Re: iPhone 4/iOS4 Info (Read this before starting more threads)
Me too! My 3G has lasted me well though, only developed a hairline crack by the dock after 2years of ownership.
I was convinced 16GB would be fine for me, until I saw the HD video! That'll be too much fun to be running out of...
Re: iPhone 4G (No longer rumours)
I soooooo hope it's the 18th. I'm off that day as it's my GF's 21st, so sposed to be going round first thing, but if it is the 18th then she'll have to wait!
Re: iPhone 4G (No longer rumours)
From what I've heard re the iPad battery - it's really really good. Last ages on a full charge. Hopefully the new iPhone one will be equally as impressive.
^^ Open the back cover, remove the bulb housing and literally break the tango lens cover away, pulling the bits out with pliers.
Or you can heat up the seal of the whole front of the light cover and remove it then remove the tango'd bit and reseal. Although in doing it this way you do run the...
Well it might be useful in some situations and with some practice, but I found as the DOF was so thin the AF was constantly searching.
Probably with a bit more practice the number of sharp 'keepers' would go up.
I think the more hardcore Macro photographers would only ever use manual though...
^^ Yup, ultra thin!
They weren't cheap - they have the best reviews of all I could source on the net. Think I paid about £120? You can pick up knock-offs (without the AF) for cheap on ebay etc. I mean essentially it's a tube that holds the lens further from the camera.
I was looking for a cheap(ish) way of getting into more macro photography stuff and found these as a good alternative to a full on macro lens.
They allow auto-focus on the d40 too, although certainly from my experience so far, AF in macro photography is really hard to get decent results. I...
Re: iPhone 4G (No longer rumours)
Just out of interest, how long is the warranty on the iPhone?
My 3G has developed a hairline crack despite never being outside of it's case or dropped etc. But my contract is about 20months old now, I have a feeling it'll be up.
Lovely motor, always liked them in black - any excuse to wh*re some pics of mine too! ;)
I had the Weitec coilovers on mine - such a worthwhile mod. Cannot recommend them enough.
I've got them for sale too if you're interested - drop me a PM!
It's a cracking lens - although not great for the types of photography you've mentioned due to the extreme distortion you get with it.
Saying that you can get very dynamic portraits with it and I do tend to use the 10-20mm on my car rig photos. Have a look at the flickr photo groups is probably...
Like the second pic!
Yeah CS4 makes it a piece of piss to do! It's pretty good for an automated process.
Worth playing around with - here's two I took recently, although not 360's.
Just a quick bump - am now having a clear out of some photography stuff, including this bag!
As it's £35 delivered on Amazon, I'll take £20 delivered.
It's literally like new, but as I've changed my camera kit recently I don't have any need for this bag anymore!
Anybody interested PM me!
