You do have to watch those starlets, apparantly its not unusual for them to be running 200+bhp - for how long is another matter :D plus I cant imagine they are the best handling car!

Spotted this 172 tonight about 9ish had a little play but then I gave in as was near the end of a 220 mile journey so was a bit tired!

When i had the mini, i went to pick it up, and they insisted on driving it to the front of the showroom... the mechanic didnt realise i was stood there and he ragged it from cold - I wasnt impressed!

Its terrible! We used to have a subaru impreza turbo a while back, and whilst we were in the house, i heard a subaru drive off down the road which sounded a lot like ours (prodrive exhaust system etc) went to look on the drive and the kitchen door was open, with a sweeping brush on the floor...

Good choice - I went down the road of having loads of money in a car - had 2 mini cooper s's and a lotus elise s, was all nice and well having them, but when you have literally all your money in your car then its just silly in my opinion. I am still living at home at 26! (although not for long)...

Thats interesting... my 172 apex lowering springs (2002) fit my mates 2002 clio 1.2 - I wouldnt keep them anyway, they were shite on my 172! :(

I heard generally on these that an airfilter (open induction kit) has a negative effect on performance!
