i dont really want to spend to much at the moment but will prob go for a set of springs.

how much do eibach and h+r lower by ?

what should i go for first.
would only be getting -40mm apex springs to do me untill i get coilovers or wait a month or two and get a decat or sports cat ? which i would be getting at some point anyway ?!

the ek9 is all about the 0-60 speed. its only a n/a 1.6 after all. something to do with the drivetrain setup etc makes it outrageously fast to 60 but after that its jus a normal 1.6. top speed is like 120 or sumtin

your reg is the same as a guy that stays round the corner from me. hes got a black 1.4 S. i think itl just be one number in the reg thats different coz his is def. W7** MMS
yeah unless theres proper evidence on the BB one or if someone has it and can tell us about it being better then i think we should stick with the B+M one as its a tried and tested one that various other people use/have used.
i much prefer the clio. so much more fun. the ctr is too big and more of a cruiser than a wee pocket rocket that you get for fun
although i do disagree with some of what was said on here in the comparisons.
i drive both the type r and the 182. 182 is a much better car tbh.
the only 2 things that the type r comes out on top is the build quality and the gears. everythin else the 182 excells in. especially equipment and value for money. also i feel the 182 handles better as its got a smaller wheelbase...
im sure i saw u earlier in busby ?? u were going the opposite way just at the bridge ? and if it wasnt you then it was someone else with a black/gold cupd 55 reg 182.
yeah thats what the problem is - broken thermostat. also noticed now that the revs are staying at 2000rpm like matt says. its going in to reno tomoz. lets hope i get it back by monday.
