yeah cheers for the advice. i dont really want to spend to much at the moment but will prob go for a set of springs. ill def be gettin coilovers but that wont b till late next year. how much do eibach and h+r lower by ?

as above ^^ ? what should i go for first. would only be getting -40mm apex springs to do me untill i get coilovers or wait a month or two and get a decat or sports cat ? which i would be getting at some point anyway ?! so which one should i go for for my first mod :cool: cheers.

the ek9 is all about the 0-60 speed. its only a n/a 1.6 after all. something to do with the drivetrain setup etc makes it outrageously fast to 60 but after that its jus a normal 1.6. top speed is like 120 or sumtin

yeah unless theres proper evidence on the BB one or if someone has it and can tell us about it being better then i think we should stick with the B+M one as its a tried and tested one that various other people use/have used.

i much prefer the clio. so much more fun. the ctr is too big and more of a cruiser than a wee pocket rocket that you get for fun although i do disagree with some of what was said on here in the comparisons.

i drive both the type r and the 182. 182 is a much better car tbh. the only 2 things that the type r comes out on top is the build quality and the gears. everythin else the 182 excells in. especially equipment and value for money. also i feel the 182 handles better as its got a smaller wheelbase...

yeah could be a driveshaft problem or bottom suspension arm.

saw the above at pollockshaws reno when picking my 182 up from a wee fix. phase 1 V6. reg looks good.

yeah thats what the problem is - broken thermostat. also noticed now that the revs are staying at 2000rpm like matt says. its going in to reno tomoz. lets hope i get it back by monday. cheers all.
