ok so if reno uk come back to me and say yes ok it was registered in march 05 and you have 3 years warranty from then on, what about my 1 year extended warranty ... would that run as an extra year on top of the 3 years or is it just not valid ?? ill ask arnold crap once i know the outcome of...

ive been on the phone now to dvla who say it was only registered once and the was in march 05 and thats it. said to go back to reno.
which i have and have been on hold for 15mins so far after the girl i spoke to said "emmmm ok i dont know what to do, are you ok to hold".

so basicaly it appears i have bought what i think is an 05 plate car which is infact an 04 plate car :mad:

ok it gets worse.
apparently my car is an 04 plate according to reno uk and a 05 plate has been stuck on it.
but the extended warranty will run from the end of the standard warranty untill 1 year later which is a plus point.
i got service 1 (12k) and 2 (24k) for £270.
think i was the one that was laughing. plus i got the car cheap.... still cheaper than older higher mileage ones are going for just now.

^^ it all depends on your area and the insurer really. some insurers like certain areas some dont. various other factors to take into account to.
03clio172 - if he was to do that and crash the insurance would be unlikely to pay out.
if your mum has another car and is the main driver/policy holder of your car insurance then if you were to have a crash then it would be unlikely the insurance would be pay as they are clamping down on this now.
as dave says if you have money you get screwed.
^^ the policy will be in ONE persons name and they are the main driver. does your mum have another car ??
