cheers for that BRUN i've been searching through this and the renaultsport site and found out that its more than likely the temperture sensor, maybe the wiring that goes to that, so now i've just got to deal with the dealers. i'm going to call them at 9ish or earlier tomorrow morning...

low and behold my 3600 mile 182 now has developed this problem, well at least i think it has, i havent seen the wandering temp gauge, but it has completely died, going to the dealer near me tomorrow, what is ACTIS? i feel like i should mention it as it sounds like it gets the job done quick

would it be likely that that is the thing causing the problem? i was going to take it into a garage on monday to see if they could have a look at it, but i suppose they wouldnt be able to see if anything was wrong, as it only happens intermidtently
