www.7dayshop.com for batteries... I havn't looked to see if they are any cheaper!... I have just purchased the 50mm 1.8 lens - hopefully it will prove to be a good investment. Do you need to go as far as 300mm? What about the 55-250mm? Is the quality reduced once you get to 300mm?

I setup a website etc for my mums business. She has got a .co.uk url for about £6 for 2 years... Hosting with floppy net for £15 a year... Not bad at all.

I think the 50mm 1.8 is a good start Ali. I am going to take the plunge on that lens too.

lol.. its worth pricing up the spec and the total of the machine from a shop. Scan, Mesh etc... Then going on somewhere like ebuyer, adding all the same bits to the basket and looking at the total.

The guy was more or less sitting on it as he strapped the car on!
