More money for a start.
Why don't you complain to Renault firstly and say its down on power now they've changed it and you believe the timing is at fault? Suggest to them if they feel nothings wrong then you want a second opinion at the sport specialist.
I think for me if you've driven any unassisted cars in the past then you'll be fine.
This 172 I have now is the first car I've had with ABS (well my valver had it but it never worked!)
I leant to drive and owned all non abs cars, infact I can't ever recall triggering the abs on the 172 apart...
Why did you take it to renault in the first place? plenty of specialists on here would have done it far cheaper, far quicker and far better! Renault must have cost you a fortune!
Search the forum, theres been many people who have had the belts done wrong on F4R's - although you'd think that renault would have at least used the correct tools...
^^ I'm only the second owner too, the lady who bought it from new caught the boot on the driveway post while collecting shopping - the bodyshop did a sterling job of fixing the scratches and then proceeded to superglue the renault and sport badges back on straight away!
So when I tried taking...
I tried taking off the renault badge once, did not end well!
If someone decides to re-attatch it with super glue be warned you'll end up respraying the boot! :)
I actually prefer the saxo to the clio now! :o which is not bad thing!
The clio NNNNNEEEEEEDS to be on willy wheels though.
And the Saxo NeeeeeeeeeeEEEEeeeeeEEEeeeeeeeeDDDDDdddSSSSSS! to be spoiler less - they look so mint without in my opinion!
I give up lol, after reading the s**t out of the t'internet and going to several shops I've narrowed it down to a D5000, D90, 450D, 500D, 550D, 40D and err I think thats it lol.
Some second hand, some new and some silly scale in prices of course!
In my hand I liked the D5000, 4fps was nice...
