LOL - cant wait to see the replies to this one. I presume your 145 bhp is at the flywheel. If so you should see a noticeable difference with the 172 - most have around 165 - 170 bhp though 185 is easy to achieve with a few mods. The 172 is heavier than your Saxo though.
If the one you drove...
My 172 was about -100mm last Xmas when I had all the skis, boots and clothing in it on the way to the airport. Other than that I think most 172s are lowered 30 or 40mm.
The rolling circumference of the larger tyre is 2.6% larger than the standard tyre. So at 100mph you are actually doing 102.6 assuming the speedo was spot-on to start with.
Hi and welcome.
2nd to 3rd is a bit more difficult than the other changes. It does get better over time though. 5 to 4 should be ok though.
Where are you in CH? I spend several weeks every winter in Wengen (BE).
Shouldnt think so. I had some graphics on my car for a while - they came off without leaving a mark. I guess the sticker is the same. Theres only one way to find out though......
£35? Blimey Mike thats cheap.
Heres what I paid for an oil & filter change at 6,000 miles:
Labour £25.00
Oil filter £6.20
Engine Oil £18.00
Total £49.20, plus VAT = £57.81
Bit touchy this morning Rich? I live in the scummy bits as well (Cheshire is only 20 minutes from here) They may have a lot of money in Cheshire but some have obviously pawned their sense of humour to get it...
