Well, Magnex officially dont do an exhaust for the 172 Mk2/Cup, so their current exhaust must have been designed for the Mk1. Mine fits on my Mk2 just right. Its a twin round outlet but that shouldnt make any difference.
Can you get a part number for it Mat & Ill compare it to mine.
These things started in the days when the highest modem speeds were 1200 (1.2k), so you had to keep things as short as poss. Strange that txt msging has given birth to a new language of abbreviations.
LOL yeah thats pretty good. You might want to think whether youre happy to let the plate go with the car when you sell it though. Youll get quite fond of the plate and if your next car is anything other than a valver itll loose its context. You might want to consider something which isnt model...
None of the manufacturers seem to want to tell you how much their discs weigh. But the really cool blue ones are Mintex C-Tech. The pads that go with them are allegedly dust-free.
Lots of tasty looking ones in the new Demon Tweeks brochure, including discs made of a blue coloured alloy that would look stunning on a Cup. Ill have a look when I get home.
No sunroof. Hadnt thought about tools but come to think of it the clonk started sometime after the RR day when I used the tow-eye that lives in the tool thingy. Need to get the jack out anyway to check the zorst. I really hate jacking the car up...

Depends on your future plans for wheels. If you want to get 17"s at some point dont go lower than 30mm or youll get problems with rubbing with the bigger wheels.

The original k-tec 172 exhaust could hardly be described as loud. DEAFENING would be nearer. I gather that they now do a more civilised version though.
