I would consider a 172 or 172 cup tho just save yourself some money. The 182 is prob better looking but probably...
Re: cleaned/euro mk2 phase 1 (172 kit plus smoothing)
How bout a carbon roof? Think it would look sick, but would be quite subtle cos of the colour your going for
Re: cleaned/euro mk2 phase 1 (172 kit plus smoothing)
Tommy its looking good man, its going to be SO smooth, and can't wait to see it painted. Loving how you have relocated the washer jets. Where is the filler cap being located to?(think you said it was being moved).
Dude give me a call...
Re: Veyron boat test goes wrong
Okay, but then i bet they charge loads for parts, cos they lose so much on each car? Plus how much does each are cost to produce, just parts and labour? (not including R&D)
Re: Veyron boat test goes wrong
The fool left the engine running! Must be a write off, Was under the impression they were every easy to write off cos the are worth 1 million (ish) but cost like 5 million (ish) to build. Hence new parts then rebuild = very expensive... so very easy to write...
The 6 sec to 60 seems a bit nuts!! Shaving almost a second off what renault say?
Reading the review i kinda feel like he drove it for 2 mins, scared himself, got out, sat down with a cuppa and then copy and pasted from the launch pack he was given by renault. Edited it a bit then done!!
^^^ I read that 85% bit, thats seems a bit much surely? I looked at loads before i got mine and only one had A/C (it was silver and also had traction and possibly abs as extras which defeats the object a little)
I aint sure bout this, but i like to tell people it is cos it sounds better...
I would say that is the problem, i think if you search there are a couple of threads that are similar to this.
My understanding is that cos the engine has excessive movement due to the worn mounts, it is moving the exhaust system more than it should, causing the seperation. A new mount...
There is a chance you will be okay, a few people i know have been flashed (i was in there car for 1 and it def went off) but none have got tickets. I spoke to an ex-officer and he said only something like 20% of the people that get caught on film get a ticket. Plus not all have film in...
I can do it, but its not very easy unless i am hard on the brakes! got size 10's.
I was considering bending or adjusting the pedals somehow but have decided against it for now.
I used confused, compare the market etc... and just input vaules as if i was a year older. Not completely accurate but it gave me a good idea.
Also ring an insurance broker and explain the situation and they will give you a good idea of what it will cost.
Think it was 200, only saw it from behind as i drove past.
parked in highcross car park, level 2 i think, around 6.00 today.
Had a rear wing, it looked amazing. Would never go for red but it looked so good, definitely changed my views on red cars!!
I've never had a brand new car but if I get one i will only bother running it in if the dealer explains it needs and its for a good reason... or if there is a very early 1st service (maybe 1000 miles), in which case i would run it in til then, then after that give it hell!!
I would suggest that...
Just out of interest Fred, i take it you do this kind of work, what would i be looking at for belt change, water pump and fix this leak, plus maybe stop my gearbox leaking (think its the linkage)
If you don't mind quoting me, the belts were done about 6 months ago for free by the place i got...
