Hi you lovely bunch of clio fanatics you,
I am going to be purchasing a 172 in the next month or so and was wondering if there are any owners of 172 FF (not cups) that wouldnt mind taking me for a spin or just showing me their motors (so i could get an idea of a good example, running well, or...
i was thinking this before i posted that i was looking for a 172 FF.
I have decided to go for the silver (iceburg) as i have always wanted a silver motor, they dont show up the dirt as much and they look very nice when clean!!
i plan to eventually either get some black turinis or anthrite 182...
i dont know if this works for everybody, but in my experince (which is ALOT of insurance quotes - usually 20 plus each year) the comparison websites give you no information worth bothering with. The 3 years I have done quotes I have first checked the comparison sites, and the top 5 appear for...
im 21 and did a quote for a 172 03 plate the other day, came to £520.

Maybe if someone at the age of 17/18 is looking to...
when i bought the corsa it was on autotrader for 4400,
got to the garage and was 4200, did a deal for 4000 and i said i wanted a valet (which they did) and he said he would give 12 months MOT from when i bought it, and in that MOT it needed 2 front tyres.
picked it up with half a tank of petrol...

stick with the insurance mate. it'll be worth it in the end.
i am 21 now and remember paying silly prices for insurance.
got 3 years ncb now and did a quote on a 172 03 plate and it was £520!!
main reason i contemplated the 172 tbh!
no worries russ. thanks for the PM. its good to see the range of 172's on here.
im not after a cup but nice car you got there.
still guna hold out for the silver i think!
cheers scott. obviously there would be fun involved, but driving to and from work i'd take it as steady as possible (unless ive had a bad day lol. then it would be foot down all the way)
i do like the blue, but ive always wanted a silver car. and would like a cup for the weight-loss, but would...
