JoeGT .. get to halfords .. get some Meguires ScratchX and give that a go.
Please leave the t-cut in the shop haha !! No need to take it to a bodyshop if it's what I think it is !
Did you just give the car a bath with some suds ? Plenty of info on here how to clean and protect the car ...
A full exhaust system from Renault is something like £1900 if you have the cat too. Hilarious, I know.
I had the stealth, de-catted and it sounded boomy and a bit too chavvy at low revs, but above 3k it sounded ace !! With a cat in for MOT time, it sounded 'sporty' for lack of a better word...
K-Tec Stealth.
If you keep the cat in (of course you will for legal and environmental reasons!!) it shouldnt be much louder than standard at all.
Also will out last the car, for about £300 !?
Standard or pattern parts are as useful as a chocolate fireguard.
Interesting comment about Sky .. thanks
I'm with Greenlight at the moment and Dan's with Endsleigh (the cheapest for him on the //E46 surprisingly!). I will call them once the world goes back to work.
Housemate and I have moved closer to work. Instead of doing 40 miles a day we're struggling to hit 5 ! :approve:
It's great not having to commute TBH.
Anyway, we were talking about getting a cheap as you like car, something very sub £1k to use as workhorse/shopping/commuting car but a...
Welcome .. and congratulations on the most long winded "er, hi, I'm new here....er... Clios.. er....." ever !!
Car looks tidy, but if I were you, I'd whip that IK off though ;-) Ph1 or V6 airbox is what you want on there.
Enjoy !!
Sunroof is a good bet. Replace the seal .. should be a DIY job AFAIK.
Have a search on here, you might find a guide.
Probably something to do after xmas is over though ;)
If it's too taxing, I'm sure Rob and I could manage it here. You're not tooo far from me.
How hard can it...
^ :o
Looks OK but if serviced on time, belts due in 2k, you're probably looking at £5>800 depending where you go for the work.
Also, is that a cup ? I.e: no ABS or air-con etc. I can't tell as the pics arent working for me. If it is, it'll be even harder to insure.
how about this...
Get a mk2 ph1. For 3k you could find an immaculate one !
Make sure belts have been done (demand proof, i.e.: invoice) recently or knock £500 off the price.
Plenty on here 100k+ .. milage shouldn't put you off.
Check out insurance before you buy as you are young, and premiums are silly at the...
rear shocks gone ? what milage is it on ? what tyre pressures are you using ? my ph1 was quite sensitive to changes in pressure.
also bare in mind that the temp has dropped a lot so summer or 'all round' tyres arent so grippy, the salt etc is making the tarmac greasier than an otters pocket...
I'm guessing the OP has a generic digital camera ? If he's lucky, it's a bridge like my old Fuji (S5800?) and you can change the settings in manual mode, but I never got my head round how to do it.
Much better on a DSLR, but depends how into it you want to get.
Buying a DSLR can lead to...
The car has about a 7ft wheelbase .. of course it's going to lift both ends if you go between the two axles ;)
Renault might as well not bother providing jacks. A fruitcake would be more useful in any situation that requires jacking the car up. Mine (mk2ph1) snapped the bit you turn, slamming...
Not many automotive related shots, as per the OP in there Revlols ;)

All Mk2 Clios are essentially the same size.
Have you spoken to your insurance about how much they will bend you over and take from you for the modifications ?!
