A full exhaust system from Renault is something like £1900 if you have the cat too. Hilarious, I know. I had the stealth, de-catted and it sounded boomy and a bit too chavvy at low revs, but above 3k it sounded ace !! With a cat in for MOT time, it sounded 'sporty' for lack of a better word...

K-Tec Stealth. If you keep the cat in (of course you will for legal and environmental reasons!!) it shouldnt be much louder than standard at all. Also will out last the car, for about £300 !? Standard or pattern parts are as useful as a chocolate fireguard.

rear shocks gone ? what milage is it on ? what tyre pressures are you using ? my ph1 was quite sensitive to changes in pressure. also bare in mind that the temp has dropped a lot so summer or 'all round' tyres arent so grippy, the salt etc is making the tarmac greasier than an otters pocket...
