was at knockhill the day, coming through all those back roads...i swear i thought my car was going to jump off the road. bounce bounce bounce bounce, i think new shockies are required.
damm you 60mm springs:)
anyone else find that with 60mm, i didnt find it anywhere near as bad with 40mm.
i have the ktec relocation kit, its all very good...but after spending 130quid, i question wether its really worth it. Dosent really make that much of a sound difference....130 quid could be spent elsewhere
i wouldnt replace 6x9s for components if i didnt have a sub.
on their own 6x9s sound quite good and give a nice bit of bass. Its only once you add a sub you have problems.
Most people are quite happy with a nice set of fronts and 6x9s, it does sound quite good.
brun, what happens when the sub is really moving...perhaps a really low note that is going for a good few seconds.
i find it hard to belive that dosent make the cone on your 6x9 "buzz"...cause every single car ive seen with subs and 6x9s suffers from this.
if you would rather keep that excuse for a head unit and some silly wee controls, then get an amp that accepts speaker inputs...its not gonna sound anywhere near as good as it should.
Or you could spend some money on the most important part of your system and get a decent hu.
Now alot of...

the top past of the cover has two plastic inserts that fit into the two holes in the door, then you just clip it back on. it really isnt too difficult...unless something has snapped!
i have amped components and a sub, sounds ace...but if you have people in the back of your car all they say is "yea very good, all i can hear is bass"
so if you stick some 13cm coax in the door, just means everyone can enjoy the music.
The fact your components are louder and closer to you...
i got ripspeed ones, look good likes.
you need to drill holes in the standard pedals to fit them
to pass an mot you need rubber inserts, so i assume if they are for show use only they wont have the rubber inserts
got mine done at magma aswell
35% aint illegal, 30% is the limit on the front two.
mine are 20% all round, used to have the 35% tint and thought it was too light
