I had a fair amount of GT Tuning parts on my first 5. I had the first production breadbin intercooler fitted along with a hybrid etc by Roland himself and I had a blast with a certain David Kirk when I left Poole. I'll have to dig out the pics of car although I took as few pics back then as I do...
There's Ford's a quarter of the age with worse rust out there 😂. Great work on it, especially swapping the roof. My second tungy had a sunroof and I got soaked every time I turned left! Please tell me you put the standard grille back on?
Yeah both versions of the new 5 look good to me, even the new Renault logo is similar to the one from the 90's so it's a shame that renaultsport is no more.
Just seen this on insta🙄.

Just sold my 182 after 7 years ownership but still have a broken mk3 clio 200 and my daughter has a twingo 133 so still got plenty to stress over. I'd love another 5 though and that new Alpine could be the step into an electric car for me.
Keep the updates coming mate👍.
Following, love a 5 GTT. My first one was a tungsten grey, and my second was too and the third was an electric blue. I'd definitely caused me all this pain with years of Renaultsport ownership that followed 😂.
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
After seven and a bit years my 182 has gone to a new home. It's going to be very strange not seeing it on the driveway and if it hadn't broken while I've got so much other s**t to deal with I'd definitely have kept it.
@FrogJam Motorsport will put it to good use though. Thanks...
I wouldn't bother with laguna calipers. There's plenty of track 182's running oe equipment with better pads so there really isn't any need to change them.
@Ant1 was looking for a good one a couple of years ago and gave up because there were few to choose from and less mint ones. So yeah probably quite rare now.
Welcome aboard. Your new clio looks tidy, for fast road use and some lows I'd highly recommend Bilstein B14's. The damping is on par with renaultsport's and the springs aren't as harsh as most lowering springs you can get for the 182. It's also perfectly capable on standard suspension though! Enjoy.
