What I had meant @Davyy was that because the bullet connectors had the 2 female parts on the brake light side, that on the other side they'll look like this most likely. So could've easily touched and shorted out.

Yeah, not standard. Are the other two ends that are connected to the cars loom protected with heatshrink or just the bare metal 'prong'?

Not standard i dont think, can't remember what mine was now, but im sure it was both wires going into a single connector rather than individual ones. Wonder if someones had a butcher. Think the wirings often different from cup spoilers to normal spoilers so they may have had to cut and solder to...

They often have them at petrol station mate. Or go to the local polish and ask them if you can use their jetwash if you pay them.

Just push them all in. Can get easily kicked/ knocked or tend to just drop out too weirdly. Fairly common

Relays can do funny things. Just check all fuses whilst you're there. Shine a light on them from behind, it's easier.

He's not been online for nearly 2 years mate. Threads 4 years old! You probably have a misfire.

Check your relays underneath the glovebox mate. Or take out each fuse individually to see if broken.

The glovebox one only works when the headlights are on. The boot one should work regardless.

Was it beeping when you did the hold button trick? You did it correctly yeah? (No offence)

That's weird. I'd have thought it would have done something. Best bet is to check the fusing, you maybe shorted out the boot brake light or something.

I thought CC was standard on 182's? But you're true on it needing both. I just tend to think if someones paid for the additional suspension they're go for the spoiler/splitter too!

Be better if it was the automated oil filter spin button.

Easily removed though. Best check is the bolt spacing of the shocks.

If you hold the button on the end of the stalk when you turn on the ignition for the 'secret calibration menu' what does it do?

Brake lights should work regardless of the third one not being attached. Earth/fuse/relay.

It could be that when removing the spoiler you've pulled at the cabling. Remove the little grommet and have a look, or pop down the headlining although i'm not really sure what there is to see. You sure the battery is OK? You could have a look behind the bottom trim in your boot at the earths...
