Because Im covering 3 miles to work in a morning with full lights on, wipers (sometimes) and stereo and the same back on a evening. My alarm has been going off and I think due to the above has caused my battery (1 year old) to go low? So Im keeping it on charge. :@

Does anyone know how many miles you have to do after staring your car to put the charge back in the battery?

Try putting some grease onto the + / - terminals on the battery. I had this problem on my 1999 1.2. Once I did this, it started first time!

Make sure theres enough grease on the positive and negative posts on your battery. I had a problem like that, the grease sorted it! :)

Big G - Did you get some discount being you paid £12500? I ordered a 182 + both cup packs and 6 CD for £13500 (no i.d. paint) asked the dealer for all the discounts he could sort me!? Lost a grand!!! :@ :(

Its not the nuts for me, wish it was badvin. Had 17s on before now back to steel rims. Im thinking if it could be the 17s that caused it? or general wear and tear, covered 48k now. Its gotta be sorted though, because the car is going up for sale Feb!
