Its other things you have to take into consideration aswell, not just sound. On every other headsets I have used the quality of the connections have been very poor and gone even worse over time. For example, the XBL mic connection to the controller, the TB and the Sharkoons connections were...

As this are gaming headsets, the clue is in the title. I have had 4 different makes of headsets including TB, Sharkoons and they were all inferior to the quality and ease of use of the Astro's If they are used for MLG then they must be doing something right!

Gaming through a headset is soooo much better anyway, not just for footsteps and things!
