Do the old plastic sandwich bag test, looks wise you won't see any benifits, polishes and waxes will wipe on and of easier after.
The polishing stage is the one that really counts.

I was tempted to lay it over the top, but I am not sure now - may give it another once over with some Menz FF as it seems to work a treat on the Menzerna Polishing Pads, a quick coat of Cleaner Fluid by PC and then apply it.

AG Tyre Dressing/Vinyl and Rubber looks great but last minutes, show use only here.
Day to day use, Poorboys Bold and Bright or Blackfire Gel if you can stomach it's cost.
There should be nothing to remove when using Scratch X, you need to work it till it is gone, leaving very little to remove and what there is should easily wipe off.
Lay some wet towels over the front of the car and allow them to sit there for 10 mins of so, they should then just wash off with a wash mitt and normal car shampoo.
Autoglym Bug fly remover works well but will strip the wax/sealant off at the same time.
I only use it on tyres when a matte look is required, a few use it on exterior trim I have not tried it.
