Some little c*nt egged my car while I was at my mates (he lives on a dodgy estate) and I didn't notice til a day later and it took ages to get the shell and the solidified egg white off :(

Decent exhausts are only loud when your accelerating. Once you get to 70mph and whack your cruise control on it will be alright.

Does anyone want to let me know how to apply the products and in what order?
Do I have to do any prepping apart from obviously washing the car to get rid of loose dirt etc.

Any advice on which polish, sealant, wax etc to get??
I reversed over a rock a few weeks ago and it's scuffed and cracked the underneath of my splitter. Is this repairable?
I was thinking of taking it to a body shop maybe they could sand it and spray it black to cover it up or something?
Depends how long the bypass was as to whether 8 car lengths is far. Z3M roadster would wipe the floor with a 172. Even with early gear changes it would still win without trying
Torque figures always play a massive part in how a car "feels" quicker. My mate has an astra SRI turbo which feels faster than my 172, but in reality they are the same 0-60
From what I've heard I should have 195 bhp + with the cams etc which is good and would beat a std cooper s with ease.
It's hard to get much more in terms of performance out of a NA car unless you have thousands to spend (literally). Things like better suspension and brakes allow you to go faster anyway.

Yeah one of my mates took his cooper s to GTT and spent about 1000, and now has 229 horses :(
I think the cooper s sounds gash standard though, I hate the noise of the supercharger.

the pipe between the cat and the back box has corroded and the back box has literally fallen off.
Is it unsafe to drive? I don't need to go long distances, only about 8 miles a day, so just wondering if I drive sensibly is it effecting my car? Seems ok apart from the ridiculous noise it...

If you have 7k in your bank and you want to use some to increase low down torque, get cams, remap, BMC CDA with CAF, decat and aftermarket exhaust. It's just expensive stuff tbh.
Or if you want to go crazy...
