Here starts a new chapter then. I hope it behaves and you have plenty of great drives in it.
And kudos to Mick for getting the job done. Shame on those of you who said "he's had it a year and it's not finished yet" and doubted his resolve! He's a diamond geezer and the Clio world is lucky to...
Managed to get some more parts put back on today. And took some off. The subframe was filthy and had some small patches of surface rust on so while the wishbones were soaking in deox I scrubbed the frame and treated the rust spots before coating in zinc primer and a coat of hammerite. I also...
You mean look incredible. I've just played it on ps4 and it was like a $2 rehash of the original.
The only game that may make me want a ps5 is horizon 2 but it'll have to be more than a bit better looking than the ps4 version to be worth the extra £1200 for a new PlayStation and TV!

Clutch and gearbox back in and the engine is no longer supported by a piece of angle iron. Taking lots of pics as I removed parts and bagging and labelling all the bolts was the best thing I could have done all those weeks ago. I'm not looking forward to wrestling the subframe and the bloody...
More than you paid for it n but not as much as you've put into it. Probably would sell for more as a standard car. Any tidy 172 seems to be priced with a 3 at the start now.
You can get deox gel that sticks to bits you can't submerge. But that's a rust remover and I think it'll be better to wire brush and then use hydrate 80 which is a rust converter and then add protection of choice. That's the process I'm doing atm.
