Nice work Louis. This is probably a job mine needs but unfortunately I missed out on the cheap air con parts on ebay😭. I'll add it to the maybe to do list for next year 😂.
Don't make sense, why sell a car because you do very little mileage to buy one that more sensible? If I only did 2k a year I'd sell my Clio for a big V8 or a cobra rep or a rally slag or anything less sensible! Start at 5k and see what he says.
They do look like they have had very little use and the external weights would be period correct. With the oe tyres on they would be perfect for a low miles concourse car that hardly ever moves, but who has one of those? A fair price would be whatever you're willing to pay for them, but I expect...
It's possible that common issues such have already been fixed on the car so I wouldn't worry too much until something feels wrong. Enjoy your new car for a while 👍.
Any questions just ask, someone will help you out. Hopefully before you have a hissy fit and delete your account 😂.
Not that I'm saying all mk3 owners are that needy 👍.
They do look amazing too. But a mk3 needs that big flat spot mapping out anyway so may as well go for a couple extra horses. Every one counts when you're lugging all that weight around 😂.
Deohaser changed last year would indi ate belt changed too. Unless it was don't by an absolute fuckmuffin who swapped the pulley and reused the old belt while knocking the timing out by a week or two in the process.
It looks decent though and if there is a receipt for belts done last year by a...
Ms custom engineering do quality work and their smoothed inlets have been proven to make gains on mk2 clio's (yeah those old crappers again!) and will likely give slight gains on the 200 too. You'll need it remapping to get the most of them but you may as well upgrade the exhaust too before...
If it's never worked for you and both panels are the same I guess you need to start checking the fuses and wiring are all ok. At that point I'd be sending it to an auto electrician personally 🤣. @RustyMojo is pretty handy with electrical gubbins so he can probably advise better if needed👍.
Just incase @Speedyslipper is wondering wtf all this mk2 only crap is about: https://cliosport.net/threads/is-it-just-me-or-have-i-just-paid-my-money-to-join-a-club-that-doesnt-cater-for-my-model.835008/page-2#post-11983388
All clios are welcome, just some days are slower than others, as some...
Well that went as expected🤣. Shame he quit so quickly as I'm sure he'd have learned the value of cs membership from this thread alone.
Enjoy the house hunting, we had a meet in Yorkshire and I'm sure there will be another next decade 👍.
Good cars are certainly becoming rarer and as prices steadily increase owners seem to be holding onto them. Inferno is quite a rare colour and RB has a colour tax applied these days so I hope you've got a healthy budget. You'll need patience to get into one that ticks your boxes.
You should...
Yep you'll need a new boot solenoid. I replaced mine last week. I got one of these next day with prime https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B073TYGWBQ/?tag=cliospnet01-21
And this shows how to swap it over.
Yep no cars there that float my boat 🤣. I was similarly let down when I flew a kite once. Overhyped, boring and the weather was crap (not the kites fault). 😉🤣
