Good luck to him! Everyone has a passion and that was his! Personally Im not wasting another penny on my clio. I will keep it going but not upgrade it. For every upgrade I fancy I will put the cash in a jar and save it for something better as standard, like a 145 cloverleaf... heap of unreliable...
Its just easy that way as you just join left and right behind the head unit and connect the amp out puts in the boot all done, 5 minutes work!
Im not suggesting that its the best way but I did this and I was more than happy and I used to be a sound engineer for Sony Music and a few other...
When I did this I used the rear speaker wires to run the source to the front of the car and then joined the front and rear speaker wires together and hey presto, I had sound in the doors from the amp in the boot. Then I just ran in new wires to the boot, was so easy that way!
Hope that helps!
Only scrapes on the front left arch down by the side skirt?
I have a friend who says his RSi is the same!
Is it just crap Renault build quality?
Does anyone have wonky clios that havent been crashed?
Any comments gratefully received!
Hope you are OK, Id guess you were? Glad to see a Renault that held up well at that speed. Hope all your insurance and any damage to yourself is all sorted swiftly and smoothly!

Yep they work, but best to hard wire the thing in properly and create a decent earth. If you take the screen out then hardwire it and use a plug of some sort!
