I found Ultimate made the 172 really lumpy at tickover and 95 was fine but lost the surge at around 5K. Always stick to Optimuck, if only for the cleaning and better MPG

All down to driver skill. From experience at the ring, in the corners the lighter clio would have a slight edge, but up the inclines the v6 has the grunt to push it up where the throphy would struggle a little (against the Vee).

Search around, loads of cheap Mk1 & 2 172s. Sounded like a right dog, curbed all 4 wheels, thats just fcukin careless and you have to wonder what else he didnt take car of.

The New ST was testing at the ring while we were there 2 weeks ago. Looked pretty good, think i may have either a pic or vid footage of it doing the Karousell at home.

Could be the immobiliser? If its turning over, but not catching it could be a number of things. They should tow you to the dealership and get it diagnosed
