it sounds like there isnt enough pressure going through the lance , and how far away are you standing??? Obv dont hold it too close that itl lift the paint though. Ive lifted dirt off my car using a bp jetwash lance before (not the brush) without any trouble

it depends what the car needs ie an aggressive clay , a mild clay or something like megs quick clay. There isnt a ''best'' clay though

i would suggest some megs endurance and and apply with an applicator and buff off afterwards.
