How tough were the brakes to do? Did you just have to rub them down then paint?

Renault tried to get me to pay for mine! The car was 2 years old when I bought it and this happened 3 months after me buying it. I kicked up a stink tho but they only paid half of the bill saying that this was a goodwill gesture as corrosion wasn't covered in my 1 year warranty
