Tried the Wonder Wheels, didn't leave it on too long then hosed it off. Did an ok job. Then sprayed AG wheel cleaner and hosed off. Then I tried some of that AG Engine and Machine Cleaner and that does a really good job.
Rich did you take the wheels off to get the inner part of the alloy clean? The inner part of my wheels still look slightly covered in brake dust, although it is a lot better than before
I used Wonder Wheels on my alloys today, used the wee brush to lather it up and then hosed it off. Took a lot of the baked on brake dust off. I then used AG wheel cleaner. seems to have done a good job.
BTW if using Wonder Wheels, use gloves!
Well I am no longer a clay virgin!
Used Chemical Guys clay bar with Chemical Guys Quick Detailer. Came up a treat and so easy to use. I kept touching the bodywork after - I think the missus thinks I have a fetish :o lol
Very nice job mate. Started on mine today - washed, cleaned wheels and clayed, the rain stopped me doing any more. All the polishing/sealing/waxing/trim to do tomorrow
the rear trim was easy enough for me tbh. Just slide it towards the front with the door open. I have clips that aren't moulded onto the bump strip as well :S
Got more AG wheel cleaner today and also bought Wonder Wheels and AG Engine and Machine Cleaner for the first time. Trying them tomorrow, you get a nifty little brush with wonder wheels so hopefully that should help too.
I think it would be good if there was a section for this. I remember it was a Reanult 19 16v that first got me into liking Renault when I was younger.
210 RS maybe a detuned version of the 2.0T found in the Meg?
I remember the Alpine Renaults. Remember Eldorado? One was in that, good looking car I thought
supposedly Reanult could be making a new version:
