Yeh mate, renewal came through a few days ago. Going to phone them up as I thought it would be cheaper by £100 tbh. No claims in 5yrs (apart from the one that's not my fault so therefore shouldn't affect my policy) and both of us have no points! Maybe because it's parked in a residential car...

The first batch of Alizes came with the 1.4 8v unit mate. I'm just on the cut off point as I've seen a few V plate versions that have the 16v unit :(

Seems a good price you paid mate. RXE is the top spec. I looked at a 1.6 before I got my 1.4 a few years ago but it was quite clear that one had been involved in a frontal impact. A few subtle mods and it will look even better.

My renewal is just over £400 with mods declared and the girlfriend insured as well. That's with Elephant. I thought it would cheaper but they must be taking into account the claim I had a couple of months ago. It wasn't my fault but is still ongoing to get my excess back. We are both 25 tho

I've noticed the same problem on my driver's wing mirror. AG Bumper Care lasted a few weeks but it is reappearing again. Think it was the overspray from when my car was in the garage. It's getting colour coded soon anyway so I'm sure I can live it a few more days.

You have to decide what you want most mate and what you feel is more important imo. I went for the house option and am stuck with the 1.4 for the next year
