    Cheap Trophy

Number 155 - no details on the register though http://www.railwaycars.co.uk/used-cars/renault-clio-2-0-16v-renaultsport-182-trophy-3dr-birmingham-201314508786476

Anyone seen a nice example for sale at a good price?

If I had a £10k budget I'd be after an early but well spec 200 or a tidy Ph1 V6. I wouldn't buy a Clio that's had a turbo/itb conversion as it could be a proper money pit, especially if you can't do the work yourself.

My Inferno Project (very pic heavy)

Looking good but I'd change the fog surrounds back to black and put standard silver diamond on.

RB - Turini refurb - Help please!

Red is for winners ;) For daily use I'd go silver though.

Head gasket and timing belt change, what do i need?

You'll need head skimmed aswell, which will cost about £100

    Jenic's Inferno 182 - Yes, another one!

Little update on the cruise control situation. Last night I decided I didn't want to drill my nice new wheel, so instead decided to design some sort of plate for the buttons to sit in, similar to BIGASH's in his project thread. I drew something quickly, (I won't post it as i'm no technical...

    Macbook battery issue.

I'd say the battery is shot. Do you have an apple authorised repair place local? Not an official store, just an authorised little independent. If you take it there, they will likely stick one of their batteries in to see if the problem is resolved for free, and you don't have to que/battle...

    Nilfisk jet wash

Hose reel is essential IMO I have a Karcher and the only issue I have is the hose and power cables have no storage system, so storing it is difficult and messy. The better Nilfisks all have power cable storage and hose reels which I really would find useful.

    Clio 182 Steering Wheel Retrim

I'll second this, he did a lovely job on mine last year and cheaper than the other mentioned re-trimmmer.

    Battery keeps dying

Sounds like you need a new alternator then. You need to untension the aux belt, remove the old one, new one in, retension belt. Easier said than done ime, I'd get a garage to do it, I'd replace the belt too, maybe even the whole aux kit if it hasn't been done before.

    Clean Bean

Cheers :) Nothing big, got a sabelt wheel to go on, some ultraleggera's should be on their way to me too sometime next week. To buy are some cooksport springs, trophy recaros and maybe some xenons.

    RS Tuner Not Clearing Faults??

As said, that fault is always there, don't worry about it. You need a lambda sensor though.

    I've Converted

If you get a sony stereo (which is remote and cd changer compatible) then this little adapter allows you to keep steering controls and the display too. It's also a lot easier to fit as it utilises the current cabling...

    Aux belt change, how often?

Is it time aswell? Or just 5 years with cambelt?

    Hello from Dubai

Welcome to the club. May be worth trying KTEC racing for parts, they would probably ship to anywhere.

    182 Steering Wheel

If it's like the picture then no, you don't. Just the cups have a non sport wheel.

    Increasing center bore of alloys

Ok, thanks for that. I'll pop them out and take them to my uncle as soon as they come as he has a lathe. Saves me spending £60 :)

    Increasing center bore of alloys

I don't know yet as they aren't with me, I'll have them Thursday hopefully. I believe OZ changed from 68.1 to 75 at some point so either of them, I'll only know when the wheels arrive and I can measure them.

    Increasing center bore of alloys

Ok this is going to sound really pikey but here goes. Can a spigot ring be widened with a lathe? Or are they not suitable as from the pictures I've seen they aren't a flat inner edge. The only reason I ask is I have bought some wheels, which come with proper OZ spigot rings which have an...

    Koni Yellows

From memory, fitment for the rears is: White plastic washer Dust cover - the only bit you reuse IIRC Small thick metal washer Large metal washer (the flatter one) Circular based rubber (flat face up) Then push it up to the car Then fit the other, more cone shaped rubber flat face...

    Koni Yellows

They are what I bought for mine, i found them pretty hard to fit until we just jacked them up to the car to get the top nut on. I think this was due to the new firm bushes they come with. If you search on Clio trophy it tells you the order to put the bushes/washes on.

    Clean Bean

First time I've cleaned a car for 6 months :quiet: Had this a couple of weeks now for anyone that doesn't know, absolutely loving it too but the salt had got to it so it needed a clean :) Just driveway pics as I didn't have time to pop out in it. Inferno-clean by mjenic, on Flickr...

What have you done to your car today ???

Cleaned it. And god did it need it, only just over 2 weeks since I collected it looking all shiny but the salt had really mounted up.

I saw an inferno in Keighley last week too, on Good Friday near kilmany surgery (yes, the locals doctors surgery is called Kilmany lol).
